Dharma Trading Company Color Swatches
If you have been following me for awhile, you probably know that I love using color swatches to pick my dye colors. Each time I get in a new dye color, I mix up a little bit of liquid dye and make myself a color swatch. I’ve been doing this for years and I’ve acquired quite the collection of color swatches. They are so helpful when I am trying to choose colors to put together on a shirt.
I thought I would share photos of my color swatches. This post is filled with my Dharma Trading Company Procion MX Color Reactive Dye swatches. I’ve only included the regular colors that Dharma offers, and I haven’t included my swatches for seasonal or specialty colors that aren’t available all the time. I know that Dharma has also had to reformulate a lot of their dyes, so some of the reformulations may be a little different than mine.
In the process of taking photos of my swatches, I noticed that I am missing a couple of their colors. I am also missing a couple of my swatches. I have Lime Squeeze, Muir Green, Bluebird, Better Black and New Black, but I can’t seem to find my color swatches for those colors. Better Black and New Black I used to use all of the time before Dharma made Raven Black available. I used to mix the two colors in equal parts to make a darker black.
I’ve tried to put the colors in the same order that Dharma offers them on their website. However, as I add new colors I am putting the new color swatches at the bottom of the post.
